slooooow day
ok so work was pretty much dead today, so i got to catch up on some little things and get to some database clean-up, which was good. this morning was pretty busy though, some issues with locks and other things. so at lunch my plan was to go to pick up my shirt from the race tomorrow so i could get my size, then pick up my pies for tomorrow, then got lunch. well….i went to get my shirt, and they were OUT! they said that they were getting more at 3…so off to get my pies i went. took a while, but got them. then went to get a sandwich/salad for lunch. and chips. so then got back to work, began to eat my sandwich, then opened the chips and guess what? they had NO seasoning on them, i guess it was a fluke or something. i didnt want to go back to the store as it was a zoo, and i guess it was a sign i shouldnt be having chips……
my supervisor let me go back to try and get my shirt again, so luckily i was able to get my size. but in seeing the shirt, i cant believe i made so much effort, its a pretty boring shirt. but i am pretty excited about the race tomorrow. and it starts at 9, so it shouldnt be too cold. it was about 45 at this morning, so as long as it gets to about 50 by 9, i will be happy.
ok i guess i should start making dinner now…although we dont know what we’re having yet!
